This site is a cooperative effort between Alice Pleva and Rosemary Pleva and has been developed for use by the parents and children of Mrs. Pleva's first grade class at St. Luke Elementary School in Beavercreek, Ohio. This site was first posted to the web in October 1998.
This site is specifically designed with children in mind. Great effort has been made to make sure the site can be easily navigated. This site also uses the font type called "Comic Sans MS" which is easier for children to read because of the open "a" and "g" that is much more like their handwriting. If you do not have this font on your computer, you will probably want to download it. If you have a PC, you can download the font at
